Get to Know Our Volunteer Team
The group has two committees who support the work done by the group . An Coordinating Team who deal with the organisation of the group activities and a Fundraising Team who create and coordinate all fundraisng activties
Ann Marie Jane
Group Coordinator
Ann Marie has been living with MS for 11 years . She has been involved in the local group for over 7 years initially as Comms Volunteer . She took on the role as Coordinator 5 years ago . Ann Marie is on the coordianting team and also on the fundrasing team
Simon Botttomley
Finance Volunteer
Simon became involved with the Calderdale MS Group in late 2016 when they needed a Finance Volunteer, there was no direct personal link to MS. With being a small team I also help with Grants, where we assist our members in coping. Simon is part of the coordinating team.
Tricia Brown
Admin / Fundraising Volunteer
Tricia become involved in the Calderdale MS group over 25 years ago after her late husband was diagnosed with MS. In her current role on the group is taking the notes for the monthly group meetings, and also organising fundraising materials for our many events. Tricia is part of the coordinating team and fundraising team.
Andrew Warhurst
Transport Volunteer
Andrew was initially diagnosed with MS in 1995 . Andrew has been involved with the local group since 2009 and has had many roles. He is a mainstay of our bucket collections. He currently coordinates transport requirements for our regular face to face events .Andrew is part of the coordinating team.
Julie Blackburn
Activities Volunteer
Julie was diagnosed with MS in 2012 and soon after volunteered to make the teas and coffees at our monthly get togethers . From there she joined the coordinating team . She has made lots of new friends on her MS journey, many of whom are part of the Calderdale Group. Julie is part of the coordinating team and fundraising teams
Andree Moss
Support Volunteer
Andree is the Support Volunteer for the group Signposting people to up to date information about services available from either the local group or external sources including benefit services . Supporting people with grant applications and meeting and greeting new members at our events. Andree also plays an integral part in the commitee in the coordination of the grants available from the group.Andree was intially diagnosed in 1974 so has been living with MS for over 40 years. Andree is part of the coordinating team and fundraisng team.
Bob Lee
Fundraising Volunteer
Bob is part of the fundraising team who plays a large part in organisation of our book collection and book stalls as well as involving himself in many of the fundraising activties
Vicky Greenwood-MacDonald
Fundraising Volunteer
Vicky's current role on the group co-ordinating team is as an Fundraising Volunteer and Vicky plays a central role within the fundraising team. Vicky along with her husband Jason play an active role in the fundraising team attending and coordinating many of the fundriaisng activties of the group (Book stalls , Bucket Collections, Galas and promotional events ). Vicky was initially diagnosed with MS in 1999. Vicky is part of the coordianting team and the fundrasing team.
Jason Greenwood-MacDonald

Margaret Reaney
Fundraising Volunteer
Margaret has been involved with the group for over 25 years , and is an integarl part of group activities and volunteers in multiple ways. Margaret is heavily invloved in organisng the food, teas and coffees at our monthly Pellon social event as well as running the raffle event with many items she has supplied or have been donated by others . Margaret attends all the external events organised by the group such as fundraising stalls at galas, events and bucket/tin collections.
