Living with MS Info Event

The local group will be hosting a “Living with MS” Information Day at Briar CourtHotel , Huddersfield on Saturday 22ndOctober . The information day is open to all people with MS, their families and carer’s so please grab your partner, carer or friend and bring them along . The day is hosted by the local MS Society Group and in attendance as well as specialised MS nurse, Denise Winterbottom and a represenatatve from the National MS Society.

The day will have informative presentations and speakers and  a chance to find out about the events and support offered by the group in Calderdale to people who live with MS and their families.It is a good way for those people who have been recently  diagnosed to find out more about Living with MS.  The event was previousily run in 2019 and proved very popular with those who attended. As well as the day providing you with lots of hopefully useful and new information we think its just as important to have the chance to meet others , chat and drink coffee and tea so there will lots of opportunities to get to know others.

The day starts at 10.00am with coffee and biscuits followed by presentations starting at 10.30am  by Denise , the local group  and  a speaker from the National MS Society, who  will be presenting the latest research . There will be a break for the lunch provided and the event is  planned to finish at around 2.30pm when  more coffee and biscuits will be aviailable providing a chance to stay around and chat should you wish.  The event is completely free to attend with all cost covered by Calderdale MS Group.

The event is at the Briar Court Hotel, Halifax Road,Birchencliffe, Hudderfield , HD3 3NT  on Saturday 22nd Ocotober 2022 from 10am to 2.30pm .
